Description
My father (William E Loft) was a wonderful photographer. Unfortunately the majority of his work has been lost, destroyed or damaged. I have been working on a digital "rescue" of the photos I still have.
In the summer of 1968 my father and I made a long trip across western Brazil and up through Bolivia, Peru and other countries up to Mexico City in time for the earthquake there. We flew from there to the US so I could begin college. This photo from that trip was taken at an open air market in Bolivia. The recovery of this particular photo was difficult because I had to work from an old and damaged slide.
