These beautiful magenta flowers are called Bromeliads, they were at the Key West Botanical Gardens. Notice how the stem is the color of the flowers.

From a very young age, I was always interested in photography. I graduated from the NY Institute of Photography in 1968. Many of my photos have been shown in venues throughout New York and Key West, Florida. My photography is eclectic, but I love shooting birds[sic], landscapes and all nature. My art is now available on T-Shirts and other types of clothing, plus the always popular canvas and many other types of prints including acrylic, metal, and of course framed with hundreds of frames, colors, matting and sizes to choose from. Also available are printed specialty products such as greeting cards, cell phone cases, throw pillows, tote bags, duvet covers and more.
