Artist's Description

This was shot at the opening ceremonies of the Scottish Games in Old Westbury, Long Island, NY. There is nothing like the sound of bagpipes. This is just one of about fifty pipers coming from at least four different bands.

About Bob Slitzan

Bob Slitzan

From a very young age, I was always interested in photography. I graduated from the NY Institute of Photography in 1968. Many of my photos have been shown in venues throughout New York and Key West, Florida. My photography is eclectic, but I love shooting birds[sic], landscapes and all nature. My art is now available on T-Shirts and other types of clothing, plus the always popular canvas and many other types of prints including acrylic, metal, and of course framed with hundreds of frames, colors, matting and sizes to choose from. Also available are printed specialty products such as greeting cards, cell phone cases, throw pillows, tote bags, duvet covers and more. I am now semi-retired working on my photography in Prattville, Alabama....
